Portico:a grand entrance extending in front of the building line, usually defined by columns and surmounted by a pediment. A style that began to appear in colonial America after 1750, porticos in the South were generally larger than in the North, and often extended two stories high.
Family owned and family based, Portico Enterprises has had years and years of experience in construction and building that has been passed down from father to son. Originally called Mid South Construction, Portico was renamed in 1989 to appeal more specifically to the commercial market.
